who we are

Professional, passionate, and collaborative in a personal way—that’s the strength of De Beer. Since 1952, this vision has guided our accounting and tax advisory firm. Today, around 105 employees work from two offices, serving clients in the Netherlands and beyond.

Times have changed, but our foundation remains as strong and relevant as ever. A great advisor still needs to truly understand what matters to their clients. And the best teams are only formed when colleagues recognize, utilize, and appreciate each other’s strengths.

the strength of our people

At De Beer, we value our employees just as much as our clients. We combine professional challenges and passion for the profession with a personal working environment that focuses on people.

Every employee contributes their unique value. We encourage continuous learning and development. Our De Beer Academy offers opportunities for technical expertise, talent growth, and leadership development. We also fully support attending external training sessions, courses, and professional events beyond our office walls.

As an employer, we see it as our responsibility to help maintain a healthy work-life balance. Together, we create the best possible working environment. Because when you feel good, you perform better and bring out the best in yourself and others. That strengthens everyone!

The strength of our profession
In today’s digital world, changes happen at lightning speed, including in our field. During these dynamic times, opportunities abound to leverage technology to automate routine tasks and provide real-time financial insights. We fully embrace these opportunities. This allows our advisors more time to deepen personal relationships, act as strategic partners, and stand alongside clients with a forward-looking perspective.

the strength of our building

In 2021, De Beer Accountants & Tax Advisors consolidated its operations from two locations—Ringbaan West in Tilburg and Moergestelseweg in Oisterwijk—into a single, iconic building at Tivolistraat 6 in Tilburg. This remarkable building boasts a unique history.
Originally constructed in 1929 for the Brabants Conservatorium of the RK Leergangen, the building was designed in a streamlined expressionist style by architect H.C. Bonsel. Bonsel, associated with the Leergangen, was already well-known at the time for designing the Margaretha Maria Alacoque Church on Ringbaan West in Tilburg.
In 1954, the building became an independent Conservatory and Music School. About seventeen years later, in 1971, the Brabants Conservatorium relocated to the Cenakel, leaving the Music School behind. In 1996, the Music School moved to the Kunstcluster, and the building transitioned into an office space with multiple tenants. During this period, a new entrance was added, and the former auditorium was transformed into a professional bar and kitchen.
In 2019, De Beer began searching for a future-proof headquarters and found it in this monumental building. Its strength lies not only in its rich history but also in its functionality.
The ground floor is a welcoming space, perfect for both formal and informal meetings. Clients can easily drop in and discuss their questions with our team. The upper floors provide a variety of workspaces, enabling colleagues to work quietly or in a more dynamic environment, fostering collaboration and productive discussions.
